Morzine – CLWR/Treeline Chalets Trip

I had an awesome opportunity to travel to Morzine at the end of April with Colour Wear and Treeline Chalets! For a few days Treeline put us up in the sickest fully catered chalet, Sam from ColourWear UK and young GB shredder Will Gilmore traveled out for the week as well. We are joined by two of TSA‘s in shop comp winners Joy and Linus from MK store and public contest winners from Frankfurt. Dunc and Hannah from Treeline organised an awesome trip and on the first day we got straight into filming with Stewart monk from Reel Fun Media! The Avoriaz parks were rad, we began shredding rails in La Chappelle before moving up to Arare filming kicker lines having fun laps and finishing with an epic BBQ on the hill! The day ended with a viewing of the edit, another Bbq and beers at the chalet!

Avoriaz Stash Gathering was up the next day! I loved riding in the stash the past few times I’d come to Morzine, a whole park out of all natural wooden features. The park was mobbed with people a massive crowd had turned out for the contest and myself and Will got involved too! The format was fun and informal, everyone split into groups each with their own judge. We lapped the chairlift twice hitting all the features and were judged individually top 3 moved to the next round. I landed all my tricks and made it all the way through to finals! The crowd followed us round the mountain watching every feature as we all took our turns. Atmosphere was amazing and really pushed us to ride at our best! I ended up in 2nd place Overall and Will took 1st in Kids! Sick day for team Colour Wear, we received rad prizes and an epic trophy each! We finished the night off with an amazing meal out in Morzine and a few beers afterwards!

Last day brought the wet spring weather and we had a good day shredding in the rain! Testing out the new Halfpipe features and taking laps with the GoPro. Big thanks to Treeline Chalets, everyone that helped us out, Park crew in avoriaz, Sam and Will from CLWR and the Morzine locals! Had a blast will definitely be back next spring!
